Google is experimenting with a new feature where in the Search results are updated as you type in the search box. You need not hit the Enter button everytime you type, instead, the results keep changing as you add or delete words in the type box.
The feature was first reported by SEO consultant Rob Ousbey. Google usually selects few people to test its products and Rob seem to hve been the lucky one to get the feel of the new feature. He has also posted a video on Youtube.
TechCrunch has contacted Google and has confirmed about the new feature in Google search, but its not clear whether this experiment will make it to the final cut. Google generally conducts lot of experiments at a time and for each one of them selects a handful of test audience.
We sometimes randomly select a group of people to see a possible improvement to search options. Or we may select a group of people and try out a new element while they’re searching.- Ambar Pansari, Product Manager, Search User Experience, and Marissa Mayer, VP, Search Products and User Experience

The new feature will help if they want to use the results which are currently displayed or keep typing for more refinement. I personally would like Google to implement it for all users. Wouldn’t it be fun?
