  Microsoft’s upcoming version of its browser- Internet Explorer 9 will install on systems that have either Windows 7 RTM or Windows 7 with Service Pack 1 (SP1) installed. A system reboot is not required when you install Internet Explorer 9 on a system that has Windows 7 SP1 installed. According to Microsoft, Internet Explorer 9 Beta is the only web browser that supports modern web standards such as HTML5, which provides nearly 1,500 Group Policy settings. Google tampering with Rankings, allege few companies

Google has been approached by Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott’s office, which is conducting an antitrust review of Google. The companies that have reported believe that Google is demoting their website in favor of other sites that Google has interests in. Google defended the allegations saying that it cares more about its users rather than the companies as it is the users who drive its business. It attributes lack of quality and content for poor ranking of their sites. The fact that you can find even top companies rank on second or third page of Google makes this case interesting. [...]

  Google is experimenting with a new feature where in the Search results are updated as you type in the search box. You need not hit the Enter button everytime you type, instead, the results keep changing as you add or delete words in the type box. The feature was first reported by SEO consultant Rob Ousbey. Google updates Gmail design, makes it sleeker

Google has tweaked the design of its email service Gmail which will now sport sleek image buttons similar to Google Search. The most visible changes include the placement of Contacts, Mail and Tasks that have been moved from top of the page to the left of Gmail.
