How many times have you been sitting around the house and you have to get up to find your laptop cord because your battery is dead? Laptop ever died right before you give your big presentation? Well, you soon are not going to have to worry about that anymore. Lenovo and HP are working to make sure that your laptop battery is never going to fail you again. Sometime in mid-March, Lenovo will be launching the ThinkPad T420 which “reaches new battery life benchmarks of up to 30 hours with an extended battery.” 30 hours! That is absolutely insane!

Ask plans to shut down its search business and instead focus on Q and A which differentiates it from regular search engines. As part of the process, Ask will close its offices in Edison, N.J. and Hangzhou, China in coming months. Ask has been shying away from the search business due to tough competition from Google. Ask will continue to place a search box on its HomePage, though the search results would be provided by Google or Bing. Ask had in fact redesigned its website recently which focused more on Q and A and social networking.

Google has introduced a new feature that will help non-English speakers to type in text in their own language. The feature supports 26 languages as of now. To use the virtual keyboard , you will have to change the language of the site first and then on the the Homepage, select a tiny box located at the end of the text box. The box opens up into a large virtual keyboard, which lets you key in text in local languages.
